The second stop on our trip was Sendai in Miyagi prefecture. If you are yet to read the first part of our adventure, you can find that post here:
In Sendai, we met up with an old friend and had lots of fun together in a game centre; went to many beautiful restaurants and cafes; rode the sightseeing bus around the city; did some shopping; saw the castle remains and the statue of the city’s founder and visited the nearby shrine. It was busy, but definitely full of wonderful experiences.
We spent three nights in Sendai in total and our hotel was clean and comfortable overall. I enjoyed my baths and night’s sleep very much. Although we had more time there than most places we visit, it still felt like there’s so much more to see. Despite not being there too long, I really feel Sendai city stole a piece of our hearts, so I really cannot wait to return soon!
