We took our travels more north to Aomori next. Starting in Hachinohe, we walked around the area, visited a shrine, browsed a local sweet shop, went to the castle ruins and ate in a park nearby as well as explored the city museum. The vibe in Hachinohe was so good. I felt really at home here and at peace. I hope we can return to this area soon. Next time I definitely want to explore the bay area of Hachinohe too. For this trip though, we had to keep moving.
